Description

Description

This workshop is a slow and steady mindful stitching class where we will use vintage linen and lace fabrics to create an abstract design of your choice. Using a range of simple but effective embroidery stitches creams and subtle colours. Adorn your piece with a range of vintage buttons too.

This class is suitable for all and will allow us all to slow down, appreciate the fabrics and thread and put our busy lives aside for a few hours. Linen has to be the best fabric to hand stitch with.

Your piece may not be complete at the end of the session but you can take away all you need in terms of materials and knowledge to complete your textile art at home. You can frame your creation or use in a cushion or to decorate a bag.
