Dress in a Day - Tulip Dress by Sew Different

Description

Come along to Stitching Kitchen and have fun with fabric and thread while learning the basics of creating a dress with the beginner friendly and size inclusive [UK8-26] Tulip Dress from Sew Different. Whether you're a complete beginner or refreshing your skills, our beginner friendly sewing workshop is designed to build confidence and creativity.

During the day we will help and support you to make a very wearable dress which will be perfect for your summer holiday and beyond!

What you will learn/achieve

What's included

Tuition: full instruction and support in a small class (maximum of 6).

Use of our Pfaff and Janome machines in Stitching Kitchen's fully equipped studio.

A copy of the Sew Different Tulip Dress pattern [RRP £20]

Tea and cake.

What to bring

You will need fabric for this dress, we do offer kits which you can add to your workshop ticket - see the photos above.

Please note that this workshop is held in our light and spacious first floor studio at Stitching Kitchen, which is accessible by stairs.

About your tutor

Hannah has been crafting since she was a child, she loves textile art, making with fabric, thread and fibre. She teaches and shares her passion and skills in textile art, felt making and also dressmaking and quilting. Hannah has attended a pattern cutting course to ensure she can provide excellent support to those learning dressmaking.
