Wool and Linen Applique - Slow Stitch - Hand Embroidery

Description

This workshop is a slow and steady mindful stitching class where we will use linen and wool fabrics to create an appliqué design of your choice. Using a range of simple but effective embroidery stitches in thicker thread to stand out with the woollen fabrics.

This class is suitable for all and will allow us all to slow down, appreciate the fabrics and thread and put our busy lives aside for a few hours. Linen and wool are my favourite fabrics to hand stitch with.

Your design may not be complete at the end of the session but you can take away all you need in terms of materials and knowledge to complete your textile art at home. You can frame your creation or use in a cushion or to decorate a bag.

Tuition: full instruction and support in a small class (maximum of 6).

Use of Stitching Kitchen's fully equipped studio.

All materials and tools are provided.

Tea and cake.

Just bring yourself! You will use Stitching KItchen's fully equipped studio and all materials will be provided.
