Description

Come and join Hannah at Stitching Kitchen for an introduction to the fascinating alchemy that is wet felting. Starting with wool fibres in a wide range of colours, you will have fun creating a piece of felt – which could be a picture or completely abstract. The finished fabric will be suitable to stitch into or ready to simply hang on the wall.

What you will learn/achieve

During the workshop you will learn all the skills you need to be a successful felter.

You will choose the fibres, layer them in the right way and then wet the wool and encourage it to knit together. Once the initial wool tangling has been achieved, it is then onto the felting proper. Wet felting does take a bit of physical energy on your part but it is great fun and is worth the effort.

You will take home a finished item at the end of the session.
