Spend a few hours developing your free-motion stitching skills while creating a floral applique design. This is a unique opportunity to try out some of Hannahs new designs before she launches a subscription box with on-line demonstrations and bi monthly kits

What you will learn/achieve

Creating a background for the applique using your sewing machines fancy stitches

Setting up your machine for Free-Motion Stitching

Building the design using fabric shapes to reflect the floral images

Complete one or more floral design

What's included

Tuition: full instruction and support in a small class (maximum of 6).

Use of our Pfaff and Janome machines in Stitching Kitchen's fully equipped studio.

All materials and patterns are provided.

Tea and cake.

What to bring

Just bring yourself! and all materials will be provided.

Please note that this workshop is held in our light and spacious first floor studio at Stitching Kitchen, which is accessible by stairs.

About your tutor

Hannah has been crafting since she was a child, she loves textile art, making with fabric, thread and fibre. She teaches and shares her passion and skills in textile art, felt making and also dressmaking and quilting.
